The Move

We are so blessed.  The highlight of our Christmas was to be with Tyler and Easton and have a sleepover.  Christmas morning was magical, even though the "Stay Puff Marshmallow Tree" tipped over in the night while we were moving the presents.  Even with all the drama, Santa still managed to find the boys and brought Tyler a Superman costume and Max a green crane.  It seemed like the boys had their holidays mixed up because every time we saw them they were in a different costume.  We went and helped with the sacrament meetings in a couple of care centers.  It turned out to be a wonderful and spiritual experience.  We sure do love our families and are excited for all that the future holds.

Megzel came and stayed with us for a week while Kris was gone.  We love Meg so much.  She is such a wonderful Aunt and all the nephews adore her.  She finds humor in life and we laughed over the silliest things.
I want to be more like Meg.  She really cheered us up while our daddy was away. 

These pictures were taken by Maximus.  He is quiet the little photographer.  We were so grateful for all the hands that help us move.   A loving ward packed us up and Grandpa and a new ward were here to unload the truck.  Max was excited to see that all of his toys made it.  He was a little confused for a while.  He kept saying "I want to go to Grammy's Idaho." We made it to Idaho in time to celebrate Williams 1st birthday.  We sure do love Will.  He has all his teeth, he is running and can keep up with Max. 

The Move

Wow,  for the five years of our marriage we have been excited for the year 2011.  Now it has come and gone and the holidays are over so tonight we just sat back and took a deep breath.  In May we took finals and Kris graduated from Law School.  He studied and took the Idaho Bar in July.  We got sworn into the Bar in September.  I am just so proud of him.  He has been an amazing Husband, Father, Student and Employee.  I really don't know how he balanced it all.  I finished my three years as Young Women President-which was seriously one of the biggest blessings to love and work with the girls and leaders.  Then we packed and moved to Boise Idaho.  Kris traveled back and forth to Oregon and he was finally permanent with us on December 15th.  We are really happy in our new little home, but we sure do miss our Oregon family and friends.

During the Priesthood session of Conference Max decided to go fishing with his Aunt Katie (aka Best Friend.)  He "Flew"  off the retaining wall and landed weird on his arm.  He has to stay in his cast until Halloween.   Poor little guy, he has been really brave and didn't cry until we were leaving the doctors office.  He said, "I would like to take this off now."  I have been worried that this accident might make him nervous about heights, but I took him to the library and as usual he jumped down the last four stairs!  Now if we could just get over the flu!

A Summer in pictures

This has been a summer that we won't forget.

  My internet hasn't been working so I wanted to update some of the highlights of the summer.  After Graduation me and my boys tried to keep busy while Kris studied for the Bar.  William is a wild man.  He is so active and wiggly.  He is almost 10 months old now.  He has eight teeth and is a super fast crawler and he is into everything. 

 I took Will to the Coast for the first time.  He loved it so much.  He thought it was very tasty!

What a funny combination of kids, but they have a lot of fun together running through the sprinklers, hunting, and riding bikes.

 We drove up to Olympia to stay with my cousin Jen for a couple of days.  Her kids are the exact same ages of Max and Will.  Isn't Jaylee cute?

 Jenson's dog Max. Max was quite excited that they had the same name.  They were so kind to us.  We went to the beach and the zoo.  We are so thankful to have cousins!

 We spent the fourth of July in Roseburg with all of Kris' family.  This is a bad picture, but all of the grandkids were home. Max was so thrilled to have so many friends.  It was a mad house at times but we loved it!  The highlight was getting to know two new nieces Alice and Alyson.   

 Max turned three!  My little baby can ride a bike now.

 We invited the nursey kids to a S'more party.  Max was in heaven.

 Our friends the Cottles let use their backyard.  The kids rode the padde boat, roasted hotdogs and broke a pinata.  Nothing like a bunch of three year olds running around with sharp hot sticks, but we had a really fun time.

Kris took the Idaho Bar.  So we drove up a few days early and stayed with my family.  My Dad flew out to Kansas to meet my sister and drove her and her kids to Idaho for a few weeks.  It was so good to all be together.  We made it just in time to celebrate the Mamma's birthday.  We brought a yummy cake from Oregon for the occasion, it was delicious. 

My mom is seriously the best.  She bought all the boys costumes for her party, but as you can tell they ended up nakey. 

It was so nice to be home and let my kids be loved by grammy and Grandpa.

We also made it in time for my Aunt Rachel's wedding.  My Mom and Dad did a wonderful job hosting and of course everything was yummy and fabulous.  

The Wedding was like a family reunion!  I was fun to see all my Dad's brothers together.

It is a happy day in the Sperry Household.

 Kris took his last law school final last Friday and he will start studying for the bar after Graduation next week.

 We are so proud of him!

I feel so happy. 

I found my camera and wanted to update the Grandmas and Grandpas on the growth of Will and Max.  They change so fast.  I feel so lucky to be their Mom.

The main reason we haven't blogged very much lately is that we have been sick a lot the past two months.  Will had to spend the night in the hospital and has had a miserable cough.  This picture was taken during the second bout with Strep throat.  Max got major hives all over his body.  We are all feeling a lot better.
